Robert Vadadi is a musician from Sweden who writes and records as Vadadi, and his self-titled debut album has recently been released on his own label. Vadadi’s music is clearly shoegaze inspired, but there are a lot of different elements in here from a range of different musical genres, so it’s difficult to point at one genre only. Everything is very melodic and melancholic. Vadadi manages to balance on the line between light and dark, – happiness and sadness, and he never crosses over to either sides, – always stays on the line.
He is so dreamy and this song is one of my favourites, He has got to be the most smooth and sensual sounding men on the earth.
Mosh Ben Ari is a famous Israeli musician. He was born in Israel in 1970. He comes from a Yemenite and Iraqi background. He first discovered music as a child through the traditional Jewish and ethnic chants that were part of his everyday life. He started playing music at the age of 16 and since he has studied music around the world, including in India, Sahara and Sinai. He plays various string instruments such as acoustic and classic guitar, Indian sarod, Persian tar, Turkish jumbush, Moroccan ginberi and bass. In 1997 he founded, with a few friends, the world music ensemble “Sheva” (www.sheva.net), which has released four albums and continues to tour the world doing dozens of shows in the most prestigious festivals and events. In 2001, Ben-Ari’s debut solo album ‘Ad Elay’ came out. In 2004, he released his second album, ‘Derech’ (A Way), which established him as one of Israel’s foremost singer-songwriters and performers. This album quickly went Gold in Israel. In 2006, Ben-Ari’s third album, “Massa Umatan” (Negotiations), was released. All of his albums were produced by ‘Globalev World Music – Israel’. Ben-Ari’s music and performance is a celebration of groove and spirit, blending rock, soul, reggae and world music together with his rich unique voice.

I love his music. I think he himself is a real stranger on this world and he will always be, even with his band behind him, he seems to be alone in his universe.
Maybe if there wouldn’t be music nothing would connect him to us.His voice is amazing. He’s actually pretty normal and down to earth in real life.
In an interview he explained that his personality is quite the opposite of his music. His songs contain almost everything that’s missing in his life…
